ESPN says βCatch a Safe Ride!!!!!
Thank you to ESPN Senior Writer & Reporter Heather Dinich for sharing Elana Koreyβs story and raising awareness to stop impaired driving.
This is a critical message across High School and College aged peer groups. Ollieβs Angels was founded to honor the legacy of Elana Korey, named after her college Golden Retriever - βOllieβ
Heather Dinich sits on the Advisory Board of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to Champion Prevention and Wellness in the sports community

We have founded Project 802 in collaboration with MADD / Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Ollieβs Angels Foundation. Our daughter, Elana, a 20-year-old University of Arkansas college student who loved SEC game days, was killed by an impaired driver β something no family should ever have to endure. We will be using these footballs as a mechanism to empower authentic dialogue.
Weβre starting with a simple message: Catch a Safe Ride β’
Youβll see it on our footballs, in our outreach, and in everything we do.
Donβt fumble the ball, keep your eye on the road, drop the keys, and Catch a Safe Ride β’
Choose safety. Choose life.

In memory of Elana Korey, on behalf of Ollieβs Angels Foundation, we are teaming up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving, MADD. Together, our platforms will partner with student athletes across the country to raise awareness to Stop Impaired Driving, so other families do not face the loss of a loved one as we have directly experienced due to impaired & reckless driving.
-Project 802 will begin the first chapter of Elanaβs story.
